ADHD Torus Room 5

CONCEPT/OBJECT MATCH-UP

Concept of EUCS vs. Object of Me

SOURCE deCODE

Response (ex-Rm4) Match-up EUCS/ADHD symptoms with Object (me.)

Observation.  The EUCS draws on clinical observations of adults from dozens of countries.  It provides a clear and concise summary of DSM’s ADHD definition.

Observation.  The EUCS symptoms are more numerous and specific than DSM’s.

Orientation.  I match-up up with more EUCS traits that with the DSM's.  MAGNIFY Room 5 Element 1

Response.  Use EUCS as primary source for conceptual definition of ADHD, and DSM for context.

Response.  Combine EUCS/DSM symptoms and restructure into Match vs No Match for the Me.  For Match-up MAGNIFY Room 5 Object 1.  For No Match-up MAGNIFY Room 5 Object 2

Observation.  The No-Match symptoms are within controlled, structured environments like school and work -- tasked by authority figures like teachers and managers.  They are mostly indoors.

Observation.  These environments match-up with the (triple negative) opposite of ADHD, which is Ordered Activity and Attention.

Orientation.  My career path has been dictated by avoiding such structured, indoor settings.

Response.  How does Indoor/Outdoor relate to EUCS definition of Hyperfocus?

Observation.  The EUCS describes Hyperfocus as an indoor phenomenon.

Orientation.  My Hyperfocus has indoor and outdoor manifestations.  And they are very different.

Conclusion.  Hyperfocus is a fundamental inconsistency in Concept/Object match-up (EUCS ADHD vs Me.)

Response.  Use HyperFocus to continue the dialectical inquiry into ADHD vs Me.
